One Direction is being sued by a much lesser known American band also called One Direction. The Americans are demanding that they change their name because they had it first, when they formed back in 2009- a full year before the One Direction members we love even knew each other. The American band claims they already patented the name and are also suing Simon Cowell’s record label and Sony music for more than 1 million dollars.

Could Ryan Seacrest be leaving American Idol?? This guy does it all- it was just announced that’ll be joining NBC this summer to report on the London Olympics, he’s got his TV thing with E and let’s not forget about the sweet show he hosts right here on Virgin Radio everyday from 10-2. As much as it seems like it, he’s not a robot and can’t possibly continue to do it all. So, sources are saying that he’s told friends that this season of Idol is more than likely his last. Tonight on Idol the 7 finalists perform songs from this decade...so the last year and a half?

It was a shocking night on Dancing with the Stars! Some of the contestants that scored the lowest managed to stick around like Gladys Knight and Gavin Degraw. Melissa Gilbert did NOT show up to the results episode after hitting her head when she dipped too low in her dance. She suffered a minor concusion and whip lash, so she sat the night out, but if she’s feeling better- will be back to dance again next week. The biggest shock of the night- one of the fan favorites went home! Sherri Sheperd of The View, was eliminated! So sad, she was so much fun to watch and brought great humour to the show. Guess we’ll have to rely on crying Urkell to keep us laughing.
