The Avengers shattered box office records over the weekend. It became the first movie in history to bring in over 200 million on it’s opening weekend. Completely destroyed the previous weekend of 169 million set by the final instalment of Harry Potter. It’s already topped what Captain America, Thor and The Incredible Hulk made together.

Amanda Bynes is the new Lindsay Lohan! She’s been involved in two hit and runs in the last couple of weeks. A couple weeks ago she hit a cop car and took off, she was charged with DUI in that one. So this recent incident shouldn’t seem SO bad- first it wasn’t a cop, and second, police believed her when she said she didn’t realize she had hit someone.

Rihanna appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels wasn’t too happy with her and it wasn’t over some of her crude dance moves- I guess she missed dressed rehearsal. That’s practically unheard of when it comes to the show. He had suggested that Rihanna would be doing more than sing, but she didn’t appear in any of the night’s skits. She claims she was ill, but she seemed just fine smackin around.
