American Idol’s two finalists went three rounds last night. They each performed a song recommended by the show’s producers, they’re favourite they did this season and what would be their first single if they should win. All three of Jessica’s were ballads. She’s got an incredibly strong voice, but just seems like a one trick pony to me. Philip’s each had an interesting twist to them and his single “Home” was beautiful. The winner will be announced on the 2 hour finale tonight- the top 12 will reunite, last year’s winner will perform and so will Rihanna.

Donald Driver is this season’s winner of Dancing with the Stars. He becomes the third NFL player in the show’s 14 season history. (Emmit Smith and Hines Ward) The Green Bay packer beat season leaders Katherine Jenkins and William levy who finished 2^nd and 3^rd. Donald peaked at the right time with his crazy cowboy freestyle from Monday night. Football players have always done insanely well on this show!
