Album Review

As a casual budget compilation of Kenny Loggins' hits and near misses, this one's got everything most folks need: the singles. Loggins had a run with in the late 1970s and early '80s, but never knew when to quit. His period with Jim Messina netted only a couple of Top 40 singles, but his solo act was a monster for a few years and the evidence is here by way of his number one smash duet with Stevie Nicks on the title cut, his reading of Michael McDonald's "What a Fool Believes," the tender ballad "Celebrate Me Home," and of course, the title cut to the soundtrack from Footloose. The rest of these ten tunes are more than filler, and contain pretty much every AQ-side he issued during the period.
