Kelly Rowland and Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio are the new judges on The X Factor, joining Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell. Simon Cowell says he’s delighted to be on the panel with 3 women. Meanwhile, Rowland, who has a new album coming out in June, expressed how "very excited" she is for the show.

It's official: Seth MacFarlane will not be hosting the Oscars again next year. MacFarlane tweeted the news himself, saying, he "tried to make it work schedule-wise, but I need sleep." He got mixed reviews when he hosted this year's show. Critics slammed him for being sexist and inappropriate, while fans gushed about his comedic brilliance. Who will host now? MacFarlane has a suggestion: Joaquin Phoenix.

The Billboard Music Awards were over the weekend. Tracy Morgan was the host, and Taylor Swift won most of the awards. But they gave Justin Bieber the Billboard Milestone Award, and when he went up to the stage he got booed. Awkward! Also singer Miguel tried to jump over the audience but ended up clotheslining a chick into the stage with his leg. Painful! Check that video here:

1st Girl Idol in Forever!!

A new American Idol has been crowned: It's Candice Glover!!! The 23-year-old, who'd been told by Simon Cowell in Season Nine that she'd only ever be a lounge singer and didn't even make it out of Hollywood Season 11, started crying when her name was called. Candice is the first female Idol winner since Jordin Sparks won in 2007.

Also on last night, The Office finale. Without giving away too much of what happened for those who haven’t seen it, Yes Michael Scott did return for the final episode and he managed to sneak in one last "That's What She Said". The show also brought back other past characters like Mindy and Ryan to wrap it’s 9^th and final season.

Kim Kardashian hasn’t exactly adjusted her wardrobe during her pregnancy- maternity clothes? What’s that? She’s still rocking the tight dresses and unfortunately- the heels. Poor thing! She’s still trying to jam her swollen feet into strappy heels. It looked like Kanye West would be abandoning Kim Kardashian to go on tour soon after she gives birth to their baby this July, but now she’s announced that she'll be going on tour with him. The touring company has already been given orders to arrange for cribs and soundproof hotel rooms at every stop.

This weekend Kanye West performs on SNL while Ben Affleck hosts- it’s the last we’ll see of Bill Hader and perhaps Fred Armisen and Jason Sudekis. Also, the Billboard Music Awards are Sunday.

A 22-year-old Chicago man was arrested for attempting to swim up to Taylor Swift's new Rhode Island beach house at 2 a.m. The man jumped back into the water after spotting Taylor's security people approaching, but local police soon nabbed the guy. It's unclear if Taylor was in her new $17 million mansion at the time, but the presence of her security detail would suggest that she was. How desperate was this guy to get to her? The water temperature there this time of year is roughly 60 bone-chilling degrees.

A topless portrait of Bea Arthur hit the auction block yesterday. It was painted in 1991, when Bea was around 69 years of age. She didn't pose for it, though, so it's not necessarily anatomically correct. Experts were saying it could go for more than $2 million.

Kelly Rowland admits being jealous of Beyonce's success in her new single, "Dirty Laundry." Rowland sings that when her "sister was onstage killin' it ," she was "enraged," and that watching Beyonce become a superstar was "bittersweet." Moving on from Beyonce, Rowland goes on to describe an abusive relationship. "Dirty Laundry" is the latest single from Rowland's new album which is due out June 18.

Kanye West is Having a Terrible Week...Anyone Feel Bad for Him??

Kanye West JUST got his $750,000 Lamborghini repaired only to get it caught in Kim Kardashian’s electric gate. The car was being delivered back to the house after a service when the wooden gates closed too early on it. A “very nervous” repair shop has sent a mechanic over to see if the damage can be polished out. Kanye, who was in New York at the time, has yet to inspect the damage at first hand but is likely to be gutted. Kim recently got $80,000 for photos of her pregnant in a bikini, which will probably go toward paying for the damage on Kanye’s car.

Brad Pitt spoke out yesterday about Angelina Jolie’s choice to undergo a double mastectomy earlier this year. He said that all he wants is for her to have a long healthy life and her coming out about the news is a happy day for their family. He added, quote, "It was really important to her to share the story and that others would understand it doesn't have to be a scary thing. In fact, it can be an empowering thing, and something that makes you stronger and us stronger." Angelina’s mom died of breast cancer 6 years ago and she had an 87% chance of getting the disease.

Saturday Night Live will have its season finale this Saturday and the episode will be the last for at least one long-time cast member. Bill Hader has announced that he will not be returning to the show next season. Going to miss his Stephon character- Who’s going to tell us about all of New York’s hottest clubs now?! He says it was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'" Bill revealed that the departures of Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg last season and a desire to move his family to L.A. contributed to his decision to quit. There are also rumours that Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis will also be leaving and it’s been confirmed that Seth Meyers will also be leaving the show once he takes over Jimmy Fallon's spot on Late Night next year.

American Idol's Season 12 finale starts tonight. Alhough the season itself was a mess, this year's match-up between R&B singer Candice Glover and country singer Kree Harrison is one of the best and most evenly-matched Idol finals according the critics. A win would be a measure of revenge for Candice- during Season Nine auditions, Simon Cowell said she'd never be more than a lounge singer. In addition to the two female finalists Carly Rae Jepsen will perform. Also on So You Think You Can Dance and a new episode of Modern Family.

Angelina Jolie Makes a Brave Admission

Angelina Jolie has revealed she underwent a preventive double mastectomy. Angelina says she made the decision after learning she had an 87 percent chance of getting breast cancer. She saluted her "loving and supportive" partner Brad Pitt for being there during her surgery. The actress explained that she chose to go public about her mastectomy in hopes that it will benefit other women at risk saying that life comes with many challenges and we should take control of the ones we can. Jolie's mother died of breast cancer in 2007 at the age of 56.

There have been a ton of rumours that Beyonce is pregnant with her second child and those are being refueled by the fact that she cancelled her concert tonight. Her Mrs. Carter tour is supposed to be in Belgium tonight but she’s called it off because of doctor's orders. She is blaming exhaustion and dehydration.

It sucks to be Justin Bieber again this week. First off, all the cash earnings from his concert in South Africa were stolen. Thieves allegedly tunneled into the safe room at the stadium in Johannesburg and made off with $330,000. He tweeted that he had nothing to do with it. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez confirmed to a Boston radio station that she is single and would like it if someone asked her on an ice cream date. Lastly, Justin's given up on retrieving his pet monkey that was seized by customs officials in Germany. The pop star's lawyers told the center housing the monkey that they are willing to let him go.

Christina Aguilera will be returning to The Voice for Season Five. Aguilera has reportedly inked a deal worth $17 million, roughly what she pocketed in Season Three. It's still too early to know how Aguilera's return will impact newcomer Shakira, if at all. Producer Mark Burnett has long said judges will be coming and going depending on their other professional commitments. In fact, Cee Lo Green is also closing in on a new deal to return for Season Five. The Top 12 Face elimination on tonight’s episode- Robin Thicke, Pharrel and TI will also perform.

Lindsay Isn't Having Fun in Rehab! WHAAAH!?!

Lindsay Lohan wants out of rehab after doctors at the Betty Ford Center took away her supply of Adderall. She says she needs it because she suffers from ADHD. However, professionals at the center say they would rather prescribe something with less addictive properties. They are also well aware that many Hollywood starlets use Adderall to stay slim. Lindsay is apparently desperate to go to another facility that won't take her Adderall, but she's on lockdown at the moment.

Remember when this happened? It means you got in trouble, Lindsay!! You should take the rehab.

Seth Myers of SNL’s weekend update will take over for Jimmy Fallon on Late Night. That is fantastic news for us because Update is the funniest part of SNL and great news for him because he gets to jump off the sinking ship that is SNL. We also learned the fate of a ton of shows. It was a bloodbath as 18 shows were cancelled in 48 hours including New Normal, Up All Night and most disappointing Happy Endings staring Elisha Cuthbert. Super funny TV show that hopefully another network picks up. As for the good news, Modern Family, Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal have all been renewed and ABC has picked up a comedy starring Rebel Wilson of Bridesmaids.

On TV Today- Barbara Walters will announce her retirement on the View after 50 years in Television. She has already released a statement but will make it official on the show today. On tonight- the top 12 perform live on the Voice and the top 5 couples dance twice on Dancing with the Stars in the second last week of that show.

Mackelmore Makes History

Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis have made history this week. Their latest song Can’t Hold Us is their second #1 hit single on the Billboard Chart. This makes them the first duo in the chart’s 55 years to have their first two singles hit number one.

Randy Jackson is leaving American Idol. For real this time, dawg. He made the announcement yesterday. Jackson, who's been with the show since day one, says he's forever proud of how we changed television and the music industry. Sounds like the entire show is getting an overhaul with all four of the judges being given the boot. Mariah Carey confirmed yesterday that she will not be returning to the show either.

Is Jay Z a time traveller? Or an alien? Or a real live immortal vampire? He just may be. TMZ managed to track down a picture of the 1930’s version of the rapper. It’s a picture from 1933 that looks exactly like Jay Z.

Britney gets set for Vegas

Britney Spears is on the cover of Shape magazine looking very fit in a white bikini. Britney confirms reports that she will be doing a residency in Vegas this fall and to pull the shows off, she has to be in top condition. She says the shows will be a party from start to finish. Britney's fitness regime includes hours of cardio, two 90-minute yoga sessions a week and cutting back on the cookies.

The Leafs played game 4 against Boston last night and Elisha Cuthbert was there cheering on Dion Phaneuf. Unfortunately for Toronto Phaneuf made a move that resulted in Boston scoring in Overtime giving Boston a 3-1 series lead. The most hilarious part of that whole thing isn’t what happened on ice but the exchange between Cuthbert and another player’s wife. Selena Gomez says in a new interview that dating Justin Bieber in the public eye was "crazy and intense." She admits it made her uncomfortable that everyone knew so much about her personal life. She also touched on their split, noting that breakups are normal for someone her age to go through, and that both she and Justin are doing "very well." Selena also noted that while she's not putting any energy into dating, she's not ruling romance out.

The Office finale has been extended- it will now be an hour and fifteen minutes long. The episode will be a mock reunion special that takes place years after the last episode of the mockumentary airs. The special will reunite Bj Novak who played intern Ryan and Mindy Kaling. Steve Carrell was spotted on the set last week, so you gotta think the episode extension is due to a last minute addition of scenes featuring him. The second last episode airs tonight, it’s an hour long.

The L.A. County District Attorney is now deciding whether to prosecute Justin Bieber for allegedly spitting in his neighbor's face and threatening to kill him. The confrontation started after Justin was allegedly racing his Ferrari in the gated community where he lives. He hasn’t only been speeding at home: Newspapers in Dubai quoted a police official saying the megastar racked up a number of traffic fines before being pulled over in a white Lamborghini during his stop in the decadent desert city.

Tom Hanks is the most trusted person in America. Readers Digest polled 1,000 people to determine those who have best earned our confidence. Actors took the top four spots- Sandra Bullock is 2^nd then Denzil Washington and Meryl Street. Meanwhile, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek ranked No. 8 -- ahead of the President and all politicians and news anchors. Here in Canada the most trusted person is CBC’s Peter Mansbridge.

The Amazing Race Canada started filming over the weekend and since it’s here in our country we’ll be getting a behind the scenes look at the whole production- people have been tweeting pictures of teams in various locations. There is a very famous couple who will be competing- Hal Johnson and JoAnne McLeod! From Body Break! Amazing Race Canada airs on July 15^th.

Lauryn Hill is going to Prison

Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to 3 months in jail for tax evasion. She will then spend another 3 months under house arrest and 9 months on supervised release. She’ll have to report to jail in July. Lauryn’s lawyer says she has already paid of the $900,000 in tax debts and penalties. She plead guilty to not filing her taxes for 2005-2007.

Mariah Carey and Miguel released their duet "#Beautiful" on Monday. A video for the upbeat romantic track is scheduled to premiere this week on American Idol. Assuming that Mariah's there. Fox411 is reporting Mariah is so fed up with Nicki Minaj's nastiness and tired of holding her tongue that she's threatening not to show up this week. The source says Nicki tried being nice one night, but Mariah didn't bite, so apparently Nicki figured "screw that."

It sounds like Steve Carrel is going to be making an appearance on The office finale. The rumour says it will be a brief cameo not a full on guest starring role. There are only 2 episodes left of the show, it’ll wrap up next Thursday May 16.
