I just got back after a week of sun and surf in Cuba, and my first tropical vacation taught me a few things:

1. You’ve never seen blue until you’ve seen the ocean in a tropical place...Mind blown! It’s my new color inspiration for spring (hello turquoise toe nails).
2. Humidity is good for the skin.
3. Learn to embrace big hair...that’s never quite straight...beachy is beauty!
4. Somehow...I looked better wearing less make up...ditch the foundations and powders and let the glow show!
5. Surf style is IN!

The Hottest trends from the runway are represented with the big surf brands (Roxy, Volcom,  Ripcurl)...like crochette, maxi dresses, rompers. Sometimes I forget to hit up board shops when I’m looking for new pieces...but I won’t make that mistake again! This is the summer of the inner surfer...and I’m letting her out (these pics/inspiration from Roxy are making me drool)!
