On The Fringe
When you’re in a serious, long term relationship (like I am with my wardrobe)...you understand the need to keep things interesting.
Last weekend, I had a party to hit, and I had that “nothing to wear” blah feeling. Instinct...attack the mall, spend WAY more than I should...wear it once (likely due to an unfortunate birthday shooter spill).
Instead...I Googled, and found a WICKED DIY scarf idea. All you need is an old T-shirt. I have tons...from crappy free tees that get handed out, to those old favorites that have lost their shape, but I can’t throw away. Either works for this SUPER easy project.
All I needed was scissors and about 10 minutes. Pintrest and google had tons of great patterns and tips (grab a coffee and do a little research for the one that works best for you).
I picked an old shirt who’s color I LOVED, but just never fit right. Sliced it across, right under the arm pits...then made a whole bunch of vertical cuts about 2 centimeters apart. It left me with a cute tube scarf with a great fringe...and it was just what I needed to jazz up my jeans and t-shirt.
Who knew us fabulous chicks could be crafty too
