In the Calgary area 60% of women that enter the shelter program are at extreme or severe risk of being murdered by their partner i.e.: 27% of homicides from 2002-2007 involved domestic violence. The shelter is the largest organization in Canada for women and family’s leaving domestic violence. 1 in 4 women will experience violence in their lifetime. So come March 3 have an amazing evening while supporting a great cause, and saying No to Domestic Violence!

Images of Hope is the primary annual fundraising event for the Generations of Hope Fertility Assistance Fund. This event takes place on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Hotel Arts.
Images of Hope is coordinated by volunteers. All net proceeds from the event go to a fund to provide financial assistance for people facing infertility and who are challenged by the high cost of IVF and other fertility treatments.
The centerpieces at Images of Hope are photographs and stories about families touched by infertility and children conceived with the help of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). All the photography is original, highly artistic and is courtesy of local professional photographers who kindly donate their time and talents to this worthy cause.
The evening offers catered hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, silent and live auctions. The 2012 live auction features a Michael Jackson autographed Thriller Album, an autographed Rolling Stones Guitar, a trip to see Celine Dion at the Colosseum in Las Vegas and other exciting items.
Year after year we have surpassed our fundraising goals and reached a growing audience. Last year, over 250 people attended at Hotel Arts to raise nearly $110,000.
The early bird ticket price is $50 each until Wednesday, February 15. Starting February 16, the regular ticket price is $75 each. They are on sale now at www.imagesofhope.ca
